Our Mission

At GARAS (Gloucestershire Action for Refugees and Asylum Seekers) we offer support to those seeking asylum in Gloucestershire, welcoming them when they arrive, advocating for them in their daily struggles, supporting them if they face being sent back as well as helping them adjust to their long term future if they are recognised as refugees.

Website Volunteer:

Geek wanted!

Do you know your jpegs from your pdfs?

Do you know what html means?

And do you have up to 2 hours to spare a week?

GARAS is looking for a volunteer to manage our website, sporadically updating it as and when the need arises. This could involve advertising local events related to our work on the Events page, updating the Donations page as and when new needs arise, or putting text on the Latest tab. If this is something that you have the skills and interest in, please contact Adele on info@garas.org.uk
