Full Time: 37.5 Hours a week
Salary: £31,537 (NJC Scale 6)
Location: Gloucestershire
Contract period: Initial 1 year period, in line with Home Office funding

GARAS is recruiting a Support and Advice Worker to work within our Ukrainian Team. This is a unique and exciting opportunity for someone interested in gaining first-hand experience working on the frontline of a fast-paced, client-facing charity.
The purpose of the job is to assist Ukrainian individuals and families settle into life in Gloucestershire. In addition, the successful candidate role will be involved with supporting hosts in their role to assist the integration process. The support will include help with benefits, education and health and on the well being of the household.
This role will involve working with key partners across the geographical area, to ensure that clients are referred and signposted into appropriate support services and networks. As the role is located across the county and requires the successful applicant to drive, please only apply if you hold a full driving licence. The post is subject to Disclosure and Barring Checks.
